Keeping Your Kids Safe
As parents we are all concerned about the safety of our children.
Here are some important tips on keeping your children safe when using the Internet.

- Keep your computer in the open with the computer screen visible to you.
- Make sure your children know not to reveal phone number, address or other personal information online.
- Limit time spent online.

- One more thing... Keep in mind that while Cable or DSL is alluring from a speed standpoint, a Hi Speed or "always
on" broadband connection is like a BIG PIPE increasing your risk of questionable material
from the Internet. It becomes fast and easy for your children to download
objectionable materials, even full xxx movies.
Even if you could be 100% successful in keeping inappropriate
online materials out of your home you cannot protect them
all the time. Your kids can and will be exposed to materials
at friend's homes, at school and so forth. It is the morals
and values they learn at home that will affect how they
respond to what they see online as well as other temptations
they will be exposed to in the world. They need to understand
the reasons for your rules as well as the rules themselves.
